The Saga Continues
Shoots and Ashes
Shoots rise from the ashes of what was.
A month has passed since the cataclysms. The world remains dark, but life cleaves stubbornly in Sycamore Hollow.
Amelia and Mike’s home has become a refuge for the widowed and the orphaned, a safe place to recover. New bonds have formed. Old ones begin to mend. Basic kindness and human ingenuity allow a community to blossom in the rugged forest. But prosperity brings attention, and not the good kind.

Outside the hollow, Duggan has been blessed with all the tools he requires, but using them isn’t as intuitive as he would have thought. The people need to be saved but his shortcomings and obsessions keep getting in the way. It’s becoming difficult for Wendell to ignore. They’re building something together, something significant but ever further from the visions in his head. God reminds him that faith is the currency; enlightenment was never part of the deal.

Sheraton and his soldiers have become a force to reckon with. Free of the desert, they’re ready to join the fight. If only they could find it. Clues pile up as they travel; the mystery only thickens. What’s happened to the world? Is this the end? Or just the beginning?
